How I work with Clients
I love what I do. I am in the business of helping people. There are a lot of decisions for buyers and sellers to make when engaging in the real estate process. And believe me when I say it is a process that takes time and is in constant motion! For that reason, I encourage people to ask a lot of questions throughout the process and to communicate often and openly. In this way, I can provide clients with the most useful information and my best service, which helps all of us achieve a smooth transaction and closing.
I enjoy assisting first-time home buyers as they embark on this incredibly important journey, and for similar reasons, I love assisting sellers who are venturing back into the real estate market after a while. There’s no doubt that buying or selling a home can be a stressful event, but it’s my goal to help make the process as clear and straightforward as possible. Less stress makes for happier home owners and agents alike!
Education and Training
My real estate education consists of the required coursework for licensure in Minnesota, Coldwell Banker Burnet University – Skill Builder Agent Training, and 30+ hours of continuing education every two years.
In 2013, I earned the GREEN Designation from the National Association of REALTORS®. With the GREEN Designation, I can help clients apply green thinking to their real estate processes, from considering energy audits and understanding energy-efficient upgrades to connecting with various trade resources that incorporate green practices in their businesses. I also strive to run a conscientious business that functions in harmony with the South Minneapolis community in which I live and work.
Prior to being in real estate, I was a public health professional. I earned my masters degree in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and my undergraduate degree in Human Development from Antioch College, in the beautiful village of Yellow Springs, Ohio.

I can help anyone with residential real estate needs in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. I particularly enjoy helping first-time home buyers make a really big decision feel less scary! And I have a passion for the Craftsman-era homes that are prevalent in the neighborhoods of South Minneapolis. In fact, I live in one myself!
