Loring Park

Minneapolis, MN

Loring Park is the popular neighborhood located in the Southwest corner of Downtown Minneapolis — book-ended by Nicollet Mall and the Walker Art Center.

The park is, quite simply, one the oldest and most beautiful parks in the city and is a huge attraction hosting the annual Pride Festival and Holidazzle.  The neighborhood is also well-known for the numerous important cultural institutions that call this neighborhood home including the Basilica, Women’s Club, and Convention Center. It has long been a residential neighborhood and many of its gorgeous turn-of-the-century mansions and apartments remain.

Residents here consider the area to be a greener and quieter quadrant of the city while still being within steps of the Central Business District via the amazing Loring Greenway. There is a wide variety of housing options and many feature more green space than you might expect in a major downtown.
