This was the first rehab of a historic building in the Mill District, and has been a National Historic Landmark since 1983. Once a wool mill, the complex is made of 3-joined structures that were built between 1890-1925. Today, North Star Lofts can be easily spotted on the Riverfront by the “North Star Blankets” sign, highlighting its origins.
